At the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, we work as one team to achieve our vision of delivering the best possible care to our patients when they need us most.
Working for us is an experience like no other. We provide emergency and urgent care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, operating across the largest ambulance region in England of 10,000 square miles and responding to an average of 2,650 incidents every day.
Every year we manage around 1 million incidents and travel over 22 million miles across the South West. We have over 90 ambulance stations, two Emergency Operations Centres where our 999 calls are answered and two Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) who respond to major incidents involving hazardous materials or in hazardous environments.
In 2023 we launched our Trust Strategy 2023-28 this strategy represents a renewal of our commitment to continuously improving the care we give to patients across the South West.
